This letter was carefully folded between the pages of book she has been carrying with herself on the newest adventure.
Dearest Val....
I wish we had met sooner, or at least under better circumstances, funny how faith can toy with us dont you think? From the moment your eyes lit up when you held the book I gave you....my heart was drawn to you... I wont lie I was a bit nervous thinking that perhaps I wasnt worth your attention. Yet, you have proven me wrong and I am grateful for that to be wrong this time. Until end of my days I will not forget you, and I hope we meet again before that happens. Your scent still hasnt left the sheets in my bed........Gods above that sounded like a line from novels we read yeah? All I can now write is...I adore you with all my being and truly believe you can achieve just about anything.
I shall wait for you with beating heart....G.
Prompted: Anonymous Letters!
At first Valeria thought it was a note Gerard had made and forgotten in the book. Though her eyes lit up when she saw the neatly folded sheet of parchment was in fact a letter. She read through it with a smile on her lips and tears in her eyes, as well as a chuckle when be confessed abouth the scent on the sheets. As soon as she had the chance, the elf wrote a reply that would be sent by her hawk familiar to Gerard.
Dear Gerard,
Your thoughtfulness truly knows no bounds! I was so very happy to have found your letter! It made my day brighter and my heart warm.
I confess it was much the same with me, when we first met I felt shaken. Though I am inexperienced in matters of the heart, so it takes me time to act on it (I was thinking about you constantly).
Even in the context of our situation, I wish to reassure you that we shall see each other again. If I have to learn somekind of portal spell, I will! Haha!
Please stay safe and write back when possible. I shall keep you updated on how the quest is going.
—With love, Valeria
